This course offers a structured and practical study of key areas of the Law of Contract. After focusing on the validity of contract in first semester, we will be looking at enforcement, and consequences of contractual obligations.
The course will examine vitiating factors, including misrepresentation, mistake, duress, undue influence, and unconscionable transactions. It will also cover illegality, discharge of contract, and remedies available for breach, including damages, specific performance, and injunctions.
Students will be guided in applying legal principles to problem questions, identifying legal consequences arising from defective agreements, and presenting clear and structured legal arguments.
The course is designed to deepen understanding, strengthen analytical reasoning, and enhance performance in contract law examinations.
