This course provides a focused and examination-oriented study of selected areas of Criminal Law. It is designed to strengthen students’ understanding of criminal liability and the application of legal principles to factual situations.
The programme will cover inchoate offences, including attempt, conspiracy, and abetment, as well as specific offences such as fatal and non fatal offences against the person, sexual offences, offences against property, offences against the state, and other special statutory offences.
Through guided analysis, case application, and structured problem solving techniques, students will develop the ability to identify legal issues, apply relevant statutory provisions and case law, and construct precise and well reasoned answers while having the ingredients and principles for each offence.
The course aims to improve conceptual clarity, analytical competence, and examination performance.
